Rihanna has been named as Spotify’s most-streamed female artist in the world.
The Bajan babe claimed the top spot of the company’s rankings released yesterday (7 March) ahead of International Women’s Day today.

Ellie Goulding, Nicki Minaj and Lana Del Rey also made the top 10 along with Taylor Swift - despite the Style singer removing all her music from the site last year.
Beyoncé reigns as the most-streamed female artist by women on Spotify worldwide, and Katy Perry proves her music is a hit with the fellas as she was the most-streamed female artist by male Spotify users.
Spotify’s all-time top 10 streamed women worldwide are:
1. Rihanna
2. Katy Perry
3. Beyoncé
4. Lana Del Rey
5. Lady Gaga
6. Ariana Grande
7. Nicki Minaj
8. Ellie Goulding
9. Taylor Swift
10. Lorde
The FourFiveSeconds songstress has recently previewed three new tracks via Instagram ahead of her highly-anticipated eighth studio album.
